Top 10 Wii Games Ever
By 2010 the Wii has really started to define itself, and to celebrate that we have compiled a list of the top 10 Wii Games to choose from. Besides the very popular first-party greats such as Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid, there are some fantastic third-party games such as Epic Mickey and No More Heroes 2 arriving in 2010 as well. And there are even strong rumors that another Zelda game is on its way.

1. Super Mario Galaxy 2
Nintendo’s Mario Galaxy 2 is the second Mario game to be released during the current consiole game hardware generation. But their decision to do so should come as no surprise since the previous Mario game was one of the best games of 2007, on any platform. It should also come as no surprise that they decided to follow the blockbuster 2007 Mario game with a direct sequel in Galaxy 2. Little is yet known about the details but the new Mario marks the return of Yoshi – which is surely something to look forward to
Not only will the green little dinosaur offer you a ride whenever you ask but you can aim his tongue with the Wii remote and devour bonuses and bad guys as you proceed. When you eat a fruit, Yoshi turns into a giant balloon or if you eat a hot red pepper he can suddenly run at super speed.
You’ll need as much help as you can find too, when this most highly acclaimed game returns, as it will be even more difficult than the last time with tougher bosses and greater difficulty with secret levels to discover and beat. With its finely honed mix of new tricks and familiar old friends, this new Mario reflects the best qualities of the Mario series and is one of the best games ever on any platform. It deserves a number one spot in any games list.
Two: Epic Mickey
From the brain behind Deus Ex, Warren Spector, Disney Epic Mickey is a exclusive Nintendo Wii video game which sees Mickey Mouse and friends take a new and distorted direction. The game features a rich and engrossing storyline where a variety of ‘B-movie’ and lesser known Disney characters attempt to dethrone the famous mouse. The gameplay is centered around an action-adventure and platforming style where the player guides Mickey Mouse in his defense against his enemies by first painting and then erasing the worlds as you explore them. This is to be an imaginative and inventive game, by one of the great minds working in games today – Don’t miss this one!
3. Monster Hunter Tri
Monster Hunter Tri as the third in the Monster Hunter series, has built on the successful format with even better graphics and even Wii Speak for online gaming. The game depicts a living, breathing ecosystem where humans co-exist with fantastic beasts which roam the land and sea, much like in Everquest or Warcraft. The typical ‘Ever-Grind of these kind of games is present in its hunt, kill, skin, make, and hunt again cycle but for the enthusiast, there is always more to it than that.
Monster Hunter Tri places you in the role of a hunter who has been instructed to investigate the source of the earthquakes that have begun threatening the peaceful lives of the inhabitants of Moga village. The hunter seeks out and fights with a variety of creatures, from small to large, in his mission to restore the peace of Moga village. But the real enjoyment of this game comes in it’s value as a great mmorpg, and the online cooperation and mutual involvement that allows.
